Interview With Dynamic Entrepreneur – Martin Njounkwe

dynamic entrepreneur interviewI always love to feature successful entrepreneurs on youngprepro due to the great wealth of knowledge I and you do gain from them. Today’s interview is with a super-dynamic entrepreneur who runs many websites and has success with them, Martin Njounkwe. Read this interview carefully because there is a lot to learn from it.

1. Hi Martins, this is really a great opportunity to interview you and
it is always a pleasure to interview successful entrepreneurs like
you. Can you pls introduce yourself to my readers?

Thanks for having me here today, it’s really an honor. I am Martin an 18yr old undergrad in the UK. I am the founder of SuivreApps and Iphone Dev Company and MyEntredex the entrepreneurs online Rolodex. You can find out about more of my upcoming projects here

2. I have been hearing of this Fiverr thing for sometimes now, can you
pls explain to us how everything works?

Fiverr is basically an online market place for goods and services traded at the fixed price of 5$ hence the name.
As a starter, it’s quite easy to sign up and start selling in under 5 mins but there are little bits and tricks which if learnt will turn the users fiverr experience into a good one. For example tricks on how to increase traffic to your gigs in order to generate more orders, how to optimize your gig title and much more .

3. Why do you prefer fiverr and why do you think it is a good system
for making money online?

Why I prefer Fiverr ? Simple. Buyers look for me and not the other way round!

4. A lot of system have come and go, what do you think is the future of fiverr?

I think with proper management as it is being managed currently, Fiverr has got a great future. Plus this opens lots of opportunities to the public for example its makes outsourcing your marketing, seo , article a lot more easier.

5. You said you’ve been making money online from fiverr? Can you pls
explain how you do this?

Without going into too much details as it will render the information in my ebook obsolete as well as antagonise does who have already purchased it (I say thank you all).
Look at it this way, one gig on fiverr is being paid at 5$ lets say worst case scenario you get 1 order daily in a month thats 30 orders which brings you 150$ gross monthly. Now imagine if you can increase these orders daily to average 5-10 daily what does it gets you at the end of the month ? around a lot right ?
So basically thats what I teach in my ebook.

6. One thing I am concerned with about making money online is the
consistency of your income (and I am sure many of my readers do too),
what do you think about consistency of income from fiverr?

The good thing about Fiverr is that those who visit the site come looking for a solution ie they come to buy gigs. This means that you have a steady stream of traffic daily of people interested in what you have to offer.
As with every online money-making method there is bound to be some inconsistencies but in the long run it averages to a fixed amount which you can plan on achieving.

7. You also have a database that features a lot of great
entrepreneurs? Can you tell us more about it and why you created it?

The MyEntredex idea came to my mind when I realized networking was key to anybody’s success, I was therefore keen on finding “new” people to learn about, talk to, and who could in turn broaden what I already know. That’s when I realized, “what if you could have a large database featuring different entrepreneurs’ profiles under set categories, this way it will be a lot easier for others to meet, learn and leverage themselves with the help of others.
For example a programmer could be looking for another person who does the same thing as himself in order to help each other probably start a project etc. The possibilities are endless. That’s why on every profile we try to provide every public information available about this person which can help others get in touch with them.
Currently we are looking for partners to expand on this idea as well as a social network aggregator to include on each profile hence making it more current.

8. What is the biggest challenge entrepreneurs face and what is your
advice for them?

I think there are various challenges people face as an entrepreneur and I believe that some are down to your mindset. So I’ll say the biggest challenge I will say is to “take action”. Personally I think this is the reason why many marketers keep on making money because people refuse to take action. Yeah you might have the resources and all the like but the important thing is to get yourself out take action and never despair. One book which I will highly recommend EVERYONE to have a read at is Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist, I think every entrepreneur should read this book before any other book.

9. When was your happiest moment as an entrepreneur?

I have had various moments which I was proud of myself for example getting my first product out which is an ebook on “how to make money on fiverr” as well as every milestone which I hit with my app dev team for my iphone app. I believe these are the moments which help you keep on keeping on.

10. When was your worst moment as an entrepreneur and how did you come over it?

My worst moment as an entrepreneur was when my first hiring failed me along the way. It was this apple iphone developer whom I had hired, the project was going on quite well till one day I got up and received an email saying he couldn’t continue and gave no reason and switching developers in between a project can be a very costly and timely process. So I had to suck it up and continue with the project with another developer.

11. Do you have any resource on how to make more money on fiverr?

Last month saw the release of my first product which is an ebook which details you on how to make money on fiverr. It teaches you what to do and what not to do and how to go about doing it in order to optimize the results you get. Plus I have got a newsletter which I constantly broadcast new tips and tricks. All these you can find it on the website : www.howtomakemoneyonfiverr.com

12. As a successful entrepreneur, what advise will you give to other
entrepreneurs, especially those just coming up?

Firstly I will advice them to stop reading this interview and go and take action on whatever idea they’ve got. Whether its to write a blog post, update your sales page, contact someone for help; go now and DO IT!
And another thing I learned along the way is money buys money in every case. For example to set yourself up as a blogger there are various expenses you have got to incur which without you wouldn’t be able to do what you do. So always bear that in mind and try not to focus on the little picture but on the larger outcome.

13. My readers want to know more about you and they will be happy to
learn from you, feel free to tell us about your websites.

I run a couple of websites with the widely known one being MyEntredex.com but you can learn more about the rest here

MARTIN: Once more I will like to thank you Oni for having me here today, and hopefully in the nearest future I will be able to provide a post here on your blog which might help your readers comprehend more about Fiverr.

ONIBALUSI: Great Martin, it is really great to have you featured here and I am sure my readers have a lot to learn from you. You can visit Martin’s websites at MyEntreDex and How to Make Money On Fiverr.

  3. Karl Hadwen says:

    Hey Onibalusi,

Great interview. I’ve used Fiverr a few times now and it’s pretty good. It all depends on who you order from, some people can be slow and some people just won’t do it at all, or the people do half of what they were paid for. I guess Fiverr is okay but there’s a lot of people on there trying to make a quick buck.

    Thanks for the great interview.

    Karl

    • Martin says:

Very sorry to know that your Fiverr experience hasnt being the best so far. But I will soon be releasing an article which will help people screen providers and order gigs in tranquility .

    Good interview.

Half way in the interview i googled to see if howtomakemoneyonfiverr.com was taken and then came to his squeeze page, i knew it was his page, then i returned to the interview to see his domain

    Yes a very good interview.

    • Martin says:

Thanks for the comment man! I was pretty quick to secure it.

  7. Andreas says:

Thats a great interview, I would fiverr like to see also accepting other amounts like do this for 9.95 or so, not sure if it can be done already but I think it would be a good extension.

    • Martin says:

I think if they alter the business model of getting gigs done for more than 5$ will make the domain name non relevant and hence they will loose their USP.

  8. I only recently heard of fiverr, so am checking out Martin’s new product with great interest.
Thanks for an indepth and really well constructed interview Oni.
Seriously, I have heard and seen some interviews lately (with some pretty high profile bloggers I might add) and they sucked compared to your layout and questions!

Really got a good insight into a guy thatI have to say….Impressive much!!

Awesome Oni, you;re killing it man, really killing it.

    • Martin says:

So true. Many people forget that, when they try to make money online.
You cant get serious at blogging without paying for a domain name+hosting.
This saying also applies in several other circumstances.

      Thanks again for the comment

  10. Hi Oni,

I wondered what fiverr was about. Seems like a solution to problem of entrepreneurs not being able to find business, because business finds them.

Though, it won’t be easy but making money is all about that but you also have to be very careful and focus and consistent do something towards your goal.
    Thanks for the awesome interview!

    • Martin says:

“Take Action” Nothing gets done on its own, you need to get out there and make the best of what you can!
