  6. Murlu says:

Video is increasingly becoming a major way to send traffic to your blog – and it’s simple too!

You can go out and buy a great HD camera for under $100 now on Amazon or at a retail store, record a video and upload it within minutes.

I suggest to everyone, try out turning your posts into a video. Simply get on camera and cover the same subjects, touch on those key points and ask questions to get people involved.

Be sure to include a link within your description, add a call to action such as subscribing to your channel and then cross post it on your posts as well.

Many people learn different ways. Some like to read, others love to listen and many like to watch – if you can be on the same level with all of these formats, you’re gold.

  8. Jonathan Beebe says:

There are numerous ways to get traffic to your blog, but the most that I use are:

==> Guest blogging on other established blogs in my niche.
==> Posting helpful replies to threads in relevant, high traffic forums in my niche.
==> Article marketing to establish myself as an “expert” in my field and to drive traffic to my squeeze page.

I think if you participate in those three on a regular basis, your traffic will continue to rise, but you have to stick with it!

Looking forward to your upcoming article! I’ll post the article you requested I write about on my blog soon…

  10. SEO-only speaking I have heavily modified my blog template and lightened it to maximize its speed and optimise its indexation. I’m getting my fair part of traffic from search engines through this.

On the other side I try to throw in some unique content which is completely reader-oriented. This ensures some “coming back” from different readers.

  13. David says:

One ‘trick’ I do, besides normal actions of ‘blog comment’, signatures at forums, and, of course, linking your blog to your friends, is youtube.

I updated related videos to my youtube account, and at description I write a link to my blog. Also, my youtube profile has another link.

Doing this (you can upload a video while you’re blogging), you can assure more visitors doing almost nothing at all.

Creating a group at facebook and inviting friends, is a easy way too

There are many tips to say. But I will mention 3 of it here.
    1. Try experimenting on your articles till you find out what is good for your blog.
    2. Also backlinks are an important factor that greatly influences your ranking in searches. So try to increase backlinks.
    3. Article promotion is also very important. Many bloggers just put posts and be idle without promoting the article. This attitude should change.

  17. I think I read every comment so far, maybe someone else forgot to say this.

Being an active member of Blog Engage, MMOSocialNetwork and FAQPAL has helped me gain a lot of traffic and meet many new friends. I also submit articles to Blogger’s Den and Bloggers.

Commenting on DoFollow, CommentLuv and KeywordLuv blogs is great but sometimes commenting on an important or high trafficked NoFollow blog helps out too. I always get traffic when I comment on Lisa Irby’s 2createawebsite blog.

I can’t wait to see this list when you put all of these tips together. Great idea!

  25. Of all the information about “traffic generation” stated above, I noticed that no one shared about offline campaign.

In my part, I think this thing is pretty unique and important because there are only few who have applied this way of campaigning.

When my internet connection slows down I got frustrated to my internet connection because I can’t even open my email account.

So what I did is do some photoshop editing and create some banner posters like traffic sign or no-smoking sign and stick it in some crowded place.

The best place is in gasoline station where travelers used to fuel – up their fancy cars. I also pasted some of my stickers in some buses with permission from the operator.

You know, there are still a lot more ways to drive more traffic to your site, rather than gathering traffic online. There are still many people who are not expose on internet businesses and I think, this offline campaign would help them get motivated to create their own online businesses or blogs.

Of course because you are the one who posted those banner, you are likely to be the source of their research. They are your unique and loyal readers in the future.

I hope this help… Good luck and God Bless…
