I couldn’t understand some points of this article, but I assume I only need to learn a bit more about this, because it definitely sounds interesting and kind of though-proviking! By the way, how did you first get started with this?

    Achieve your goal

It is not only convenient to get anything from a math degree to a psychology degree online, but it can also be less costly than traditional college or universities, too. Often, since online schools do not have a physical campus, they do not need to charge as much for attendance. Things like housing, campus building upkeep and cafeteria facilities are not typically offered, and so the cost of attendance is just tuition and books. In addition, most online education programs offer some form of financial aid. And the cost of online degrees earned from an accredited institution can often be offset with federal financial aid as well…………..

This way you won’t be taking backup of your WordPress blog, but only the blog posts, mind it. You would need a DB backup plugin if you want to take backup of your WHOLE blog (posts, theme, customizations, comments and literally everything)!

  4. It’s indeed a painful thing to lost a whole site. sometime last my blog experienced a crash but luckily for me I had a backup though I still lost a few posts. But without a backup it’s devastating!

I really love the guys at WordPress for including these tools in the latest version of the platform. What I have been using before now was phpAdmin. And I had found it very effective. I also did some posts on the heartache, frustration and the lessons I learnt from that experience. Here is one of the posts:

I usually us PhpAdmin to do so, quickly and safely, this way is simple but take a long time if you have big database

I spent the whole day yesterday trying to figure out how to back-up my files in the simplest way for a newbie like myself and I happened to stumble across your post at the end of the day (better late than never). Thank you. I went to bed with a piece of mind.

There should be more short cuts like this for newbies so than we don’t remain in panic mode when we come across the actual long, complicated process of backing up.
