Humility a key to online success

by Onibalusi Bamidele on March 19, 2010 · 13 comments

I often write in order to keep my readers updated and also as part of development of my blog but I wrote this particular posts because I got the inspiration and I am compelled to do so.humility Is humility a part of online business success? What do you think about this, or do you think we should just do anyhow we like and just get away with it. It ain’t supposed to be so. Humility is a key and essential factor to achieve online success. You just have to lower yourself, you might be great I might be small but who knows what tomorrow has in stock for me. Neglect your self pride, let us interact with each other, let us help ourselves achieve great things.

You might be a blogger, but when last do you hear about fortune 500 companies making the buzz, the story is now that of ourselves, it is all about an individual blogger who is doing wonders somewhere. Neglect your self pride! Interact with others- both small and great.

A very good example of a Humble blogger is James Richmond a.k.a. The infoprenuer, The guy so much humbles himself, he neglects all his achievements and comes down to everybody’s level, hardly do you come over a comment on his site without his reply. Another great example is Hesham Zebida who shares some Blogging tips at famousbloggers.net,this guy is as humble as any other thing, he is ready to help you grow irrespective of your rank, he is ready to drop his ego despite his achievements and do what so many people think should not be done for subordinates- That is what we call humility.

I know I am still small, in fact I am just 16 years old and I may not know what I am saying or where do you expect me to get the knowledge. You just can’t interact with small boys; you need to talk with other adults. Neglect your self pride. I don’t mind who my message is talking to but I just know I must pass it across.

You might not necessarily take decisions with subordinates or small boys (like me), but your advice can surely go a long way to help me achieve more or wouldn’t you be happy to see a 16 year old boy be the youngest most successful entrepreneur just because of your advice… think about it. Interact with us small boys we, definitely have something good you can also learn from.

Try to learn from everybody, your readers are not just to low for your rank, each and every one of them deserves a little bit of your attention- at least that is why you are there.

Do you think humility is not necessary to achieving online success or what else do you think? I will be happy to hear from you through the comments section!

It is an interesting point of view and not often voiced. I think humility is good but letting your audience know that you are an expert that can help them is also quite important.
