5. Submit to as many directories as possible: 1000, 2000, 5000……. Let it be as much as possible.
6. Use good titles
7. Use you desired anchor text at least 2 times in the body of your article
8. Put a link to your website in your author bio
9. Do not submit an article to more than 10 different article sites.
10. Write quality articles in order to get the attention of other webmasters to publish your articles on their websites

Article Submission: There are so many rumors out there about article submission not working again, but what do you expect if you are submitting a single article to over 100 article directories (do you think search engines are fool? Maybe you are), and also, do you think you can dominate a highly competitive keyword in a day with just a few backlinks (impossible). Article submission is by far one of the best ways to easily rank higher for a specific keyword because the more your article is being copied by other webmasters the more the numbers of backlinks to your website and the more the traffic you will get. The following are best practices for effective article submission:

1. The dofollow madness: So many webmasters have gone mad (I mean mad) with this dofollow of a thing: what Google itself (the originator) cannot explain in details (don’t be surprised). Is it traffic you want or pagerank? If you want traffic then your link building efforts should not be focused on dofollow only but effective link building with the right usage of anchor text.
2. Pagerank brings traffic (great mistake): So many webmasters (don’t call them SEO experts because they are not) will tell you pagerank bring traffic: This is one of the greatest lies I ever heard because I can show you several pagerank 7 and 8 websites that gets less than 50 visits a day and I can show you so many pagerank 1 and 2 websites that get over 1000 visits a day. It all depends on you knowing what you want and how to go about it.
